Feeding Sparrows

Sometimes wildlife photography can be really relaxing. The advantage of gardens that offer animals places to hide is that the animals actually take advantage of them. As a result, a wide variety of bird species nest in our garden and throughout the neighborhood.
This nest box hangs on our neighbor’s garage, just centimeters from our property line. A tree on our side provides shelter for the birds and a shady spot for me in the afternoon.
The little sparrow in the nest box is always hungry and makes its request loudly known. So I set up my tripod next to the lounge chair and used a remote shutter release to take pictures whenever a parent came to feed the little squaller …
