exhibition "Fumes & Perfumes", Stuttgart

exhibition "Fumes & Perfumes 9.0" - Stuttgart – Germany

As I wrote in my last blog post. the main reason to visit Stuttgart was the exhibition "Fumes & Perfumes" [].

This is volume 9, but the first I was able to see. I got to know about it only during Covid times but was not able to visit it. So this time I didn't want to miss it again.

The exhibition is at the Züblin parking garage which is pretty run down, but still active. There were quite some discussions to tear it down in the past, but with these exhibitions and a bar at the top level, it is surviving as a kind of event location.

As it's an active parking garage you can enter it for free and walk around to see the pictures.

But the vernissage is something different. It's done by car. You have to book a slot and then drive through the parking garage passing by the different pictures. Nothing I'm interested in but for sure a very special event.

As usual, when it comes to photo art not all of them are to my taste, but it's interesting to see so many of them and in such a special place.

The exhibition is running for a year and as it started in July you should have sufficient time. So if you're around I highly recommend to take look.
