Hong Kong at night

Victoria Harbour - Hong Kong - China

One of the must-do activities for every visitor to Hong Kong is to watch the skyline of Hong Kong Island at night. The preferred place to do so is the Kowloon Public Pier area or the Avenue of Stars and the preferred timing is during the Symphony of Lights Show.

There is nothing wrong with that and you can get decent pictures if you are there early enough to get a place in the first row. But be prepared: It's getting really crowded.

I'm looking for different options for quite a while and already showed you some of them here and here.

This time I went to the cruise ship terminal right next to the Star Ferry Building. There is a huge shopping mall called Harbour City and if you go to the parking lot at the very top you will have to share the nice view with a very limited number of people.

But you can't hear the music 😉
