night photography in Singapore

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple - Singapore

Unfortunately, I only had one night in Singapore. So this post shows only a fraction of the possibilities you have to photograph the Singapore skyline.

My first stop, still during the blue hour, was at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. I had already scouted this location during the day and knew from where I wanted to take this picture and the one above.

The second subject I wanted to tackle was the Helix Bridge. So I took the subway to the Bayfront Metro station and from there walked across the Benjamin Sheares Bridge (which runs parallel to the Helix Bridge) to the north side of the Helix Bridge. From there, you look towards Marina Bay Sands and across Marina Bay to the skyline along Fullerton Rd. In post, it wasn't really necessary to walk all the way to the north end, as the best photos were taken from or near the bridge's viewing platforms.

Since my hotel was near Clarke Quay, my last stop was there:
