Weather: sunny and above 20°C in Osaka, partly sunny and 12 °C in Frankfurt
Today we will start our long journey back home. As we have an overnight flight we will not leave the hotel until 7pm. Check-out is at 11am, but I decide not to go into town anymore.
I have turned off the alarm clock, but of course, I am still awake at the usual time, and since a Chinese group leaves an hour later, there is no chance of a long sleep anyway. For the last time, I grab a coffee and something to eat for breakfast - again at the Lawson next to the hotel. I rearrange my things for the flight and work a bit on the laptop before I check out at 10:30am.
The hotel has a small lounge that we are allowed to use and as they have power plugs and a table I continue to sort my pictures.
At 1:30pm I go for lunch. Yesterday I saw a branch of my favorite Japanese BBQ chain near the local train station and so it was clear where I will have my final meal.
I've been there now 4 times and was never disappointed. The meat is always a bit different even though I ordered more or less the same, but it was always delicious.
After an hour, I'm back to the lounge and continue working.
At 7pm we leave the hotel with a couple of taxis to the departure point of the airport bus. The airport is quite far outside the city, so it takes us about an hour to get there. More than 3 hours before departure we are at the counters, more precisely at the end of a very long queue. We say goodbye to our guide and the usual routine starts.
